Joe Graf Jr. (@joegrafjr) is a 20-year-old rising on the racing scene.

Joe Graf Jr. has competed in the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards, NASCAR Modified Series, INEX Legends Car Series and INEX Bandolero Series.

While grooming his path like most young drivers across the northeast, Graf stormed onto the ARCA Racing Series in 2018. What was supposed to be just a four-race trial blossomed into a full-time job aboard the No. 77 for Chad Bryant Racing.

Receiving unprecedented attention and quickly becoming a fan favorite, Graf honed his skills which led to one win, six top-five and eight top-10 finishes – even though the rookie lacked stock car experience.

Graf Jr. also went into the record books during the 2018 ARCA season by being apart of the series’ closest finish in history at the famed Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway where Graf Jr. and Zane Smith finished in a statistical tie. Smith was granted the win only after review the photo at the finish line.

Before arriving on the stock car scene, Graf was no stranger to winning. Before ARCA, he won in the NASCAR Modified Series and earned Rookie of the Year honors at Stafford (Ct.) Motor Speedway.

Furthermore, he has over 50 wins in the INEX Legends Car Series, including several track championships and a prestigious win at the Battle of the Big Top at Texas Motor Speedway and Legendstock at Bethel Motor Speedway in White Lake, NY.

Graf Jr. began his racing career competing in the bandolero cars at the age of 9 in Shakopee, Minn. He went on to earn over 40 victories while racing throughout the country.

Graf Jr’s sophomore ARCA season will see him compete for the 2019 ARCA Racing Series Championship. Graf Jr. will continue to wheel the No. 77 Ford Fusion for Chad Bryant Racing. Chad Bryant, team owner and the 2016 ARCA championship crew chief will call the shots for Graf this season.

Graf, from of Mahwah, New Jersey is also expected to leap into the national series of NASCAR later in 2019 – with hopes of a full NASCAR Xfinity Series run in 2020.

Outside of racing, Graf Jr. is also a student at New York University (NYU) in Manhattan. Currently, he has a 3.7 grade point average (GPA) and is focused on earning a degree, while also being a professional race car driver.

Graf Jr. is also a brand ambassador for the Eat Sleep Race campaign and has support from Shoprite grocery stores, Alliance Shippers and Big Tine animal nutrition.
